Whole Foods Duke Street Ice House Pub

Whole Foods in Alexandria is expanding the footprint of its restaurant area and adding a new pub called the Duke Street Ice House.

Whole Foods, at 1700 Duke Street, plans to open the expanded restaurant and pub this summer. Indoor seating would be reconfigured to accommodate more diners, who could bring in purchased prepared food or order from the waitstaff.
The pub area would have beer and wine for sale, growlers for purchase and mixed drinks if the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (VABC) approves.
The restaurant and pub will have 151 seats in all.
