The American Counseling Association (ACA) is a not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession.
There are 20 chartered divisions within ACA. These divisions provide leadership, resources and information unique to specialized areas and/or principles of counseling. ACA also has 56 chartered branches in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
Each spring, ACA holds its annual Conference & Expo offering counseling professionals an opportunity to earn 30+ CEs through a combination of education sessions (typically more than 400 to choose from), and Pre-conference Learning Institutes. Highlights include engaging keynote speakers; an onsite Career Center; ACA/American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Fundamentals Training; the Grad Students & New Professionals Only Series; and the National Awards Ceremony.
