I have been making cakes for years. I started by making my children's birthday cakes every year. I took a 3 course level class to improve on my decorating skills/Techniques. I had people tell me for years I should sell cakes, but it wasn't until I helped someone make cupcakes for a wedding that I truly felt like I should "go for it".
My vision is to bring delicious desserts with character into your home for all to enjoy. It truly makes me happy to see others so thrilled over a dessert I have created.
My desserts are skillfully decorated. I do not use Fondant to cover my desserts. I take pride in my artistic skills in which I free-hand pipe icing and sculpt the art details on my beautiful desserts. There is nothing like the beauty of a delicious looking traditionally iced dessert that you can slice and eat without peeling off fondant. I will only use a sparingly amount of fondant for specific decorative elements only.
I use organic sugar, unbleached flour, real butter, and more.
As of now it is just me, working in my home based bakery, but in hopes one day that my daughter will be part of my Bakery.
